ARCA Menards Series at Salem Speedway:
Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 Post-race Notes
* Brenden Queen (No. 28 BestRepair.net Chevrolet) scored his seventh
ARCA Menards Series victory of the season in Saturday’s Kentuckiana
Ford Dealers ARCA 200 at Salem Speedway. Queen unofficially extended his
lead in the series championship standings to 64 points over fourth-place
finisher Lavar Scott (No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet) with two races
remaining.
* Andrew Patterson (No. 70 SCS Gearbox / WinSupply Toyota) finished
second in his first start with Nitro Motorsports; he bettered his
career-best finish, sixth, set earlier this season at Charlotte Motor
Speedway.
* Leland Honeyman, Jr. (No. 20 DPR Construction Toyota) finished third
in his second start of the season for Venturini Motorsports. Honeyman
also bettered his career-best finish, fourth, set last Thursday at
Bristol Motor Speedway.
* Scott took the lead from Max Reaves (No. 18 Cook Out Toyota) with 88
laps to go and extended his lead after the second of two five-minute
race breaks at lap 125. Reaves would bring out the third and final
caution of the day with 28 laps to go when he scrubbed the wall in turns
three and four, leading to an 18th-place finish. Queen was able to beat
Scott into turn one on the ensuing restart and led the rest of the way.
* Isabella Robusto (No. 55 Mobil 1 Toyota) rebounded from a 27th-place
finish last Thursday at Bristol with a fifth-place finish at Salem, her
eighth top-five finish of the season.
* Mason Mitchell (No. 25 Pro-Seed USA Toyota) finished sixth in his
first start at Salem Speedway since he finished second in his 2014
championship season.
* Local favorites Will Kimmel (No. 69 Abtech Electrical / Weddington
Custom Homes Ford) and Conner Popplewell (No. 95 Red Ball Recycling /
Green Tree Real Estate Toyota) spent much of the night running nose to
tail, finishing the evening in seventh and eighth respectively.
* Tony Cosentino (No. 11 Harkey Heating & Air Conditioning Ford)
finished ninth, his third top-ten finish of the season.
* Ryan Vargas (No. 67 Michael Maples Motorsports Chevrolet) finished
tenth, matching his career-best series finish set earlier this season at
Kansas Speedway.
* Reaves won the General Tire Pole Award earlier in the afternoon, his
second of the season; he also started from the front of the field at
Madison International Speedway in August. It is the fourth General Tire
Pole Award earned in qualifying in 2025 for the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18
team: (Brent Crews, Iowa Speedway; Reaves, Madison International
Speedway; Crews, Bristol Motor Speedway).
* The next race for the ARCA Menards Series is the Reese’s 150 at
Kansas Speedway; the race will be televised live on FS1 starting at 8 pm
ET on Friday, September 26. Live timing & scoring data and live race
